Vikram (2022)
Vikram is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. The film follows Vikram, a former commander of the black-ops squad's pilot batch, as he tries to take down Sandhanam, the runner of a drug syndicate Vetti Vagaiyara. Amar, the head of a black-ops squad, is summoned by Police commissioner Jose to bring justice to a group of masked vigilantes for the murder of Stephen Raj. Amar discovers that Karnan's addictions are a ruse to cover up a covert operation he had been running.
Amar and his team capture Bejoy, a vigilante who reveals his family's death for leading a drugs bust at Trichy. They sneak into Rudra Prathap's daughter's wedding ceremony and kill Sandhanam, who then kills Rudra Prathap. Amar then theorizes that Jose is Sandhanam's mole in the department and was involved in Prabhanjan's death. A bomb blast destroys Sandhanam's bungalow and a drug lab, and everyone except Sandhanam's brother Elango is evacuated.
Vikram arrives at prison and frees Bejoy and his team. He reveals that his actions were not vengeance over Prabhanjan's death but a mission to bust the drug syndicate in the city. Sandhanam kills Amar's wife Gayathri and sends his men to kill Vikram's daughter-in-law and grandson at Prabhanjan's house. Vikram and his grandson reach Chennai Port, where Sandhanam attacks Vikram and destroys the drug containers.
